Gental, Painless, Holistic Drug & Alcohol Detox Facility 1-877-767-0598

June 24th, 2008

Drug detox is the process whereby a person addicted to alcohol or drugs is isolated from the intake of drugs for a sufficient time that the immediate physical urge to use is dissipated. This does not mean that the addict is cured from the addiction, merely that the physical urge is diminished. In some cases, drugs may be used to minimize the physical trauma that may be present during detox. In some cases, depending on the drug addiction, certain detox drugs, or substitute drugs are used so that there is a more gradual withdrawal. This is important because in some cases a total instantaneous deletion of the drug into the body may cause severe physical symptoms that could lead to death. In these cases, medical personnel evaluate the patient to determine the risks, if any, to the individual who is entering detox. The patient’s medical history, along with the history of abuse, is evaluated to determine the best detox treatment.

Painless detox, rapid detox, and other words are sometimes used to describe the detox process. Usually, painless detox refers to the application of certain “substitute” drugs to lessen the severity of detox. In other cases, drugs may also be used to decrease the time in detox. In either situation, trained and experienced medical doctors supervise the drug detox process to assure that the patient will have the best chance at a full and long-term recovery.

Here at the Drug Detox Center, we evaluate each patient individually. Based on each patient’s needs, whether it’s prescription drug detox that is needed, or alcohol detox, we develop a drug detox program that is both painless and as rapid as possible. The reason for this is that we believe it is important to get the patient in treatment as soon as possible so that we can work towards the ultimate healing of the individual. If you or a loved one is in need of drug detox, please call the Drug Detox Center today at 1-877-767-0598. We have someone standing by to answer all your questions and to help you make the decision to enter detox. Please, for you sake or for the sake of your loved one, make the call today. Tomorrow may be too late.

Luxury Drug Detox

What is luxury drug detox? Let’s first look at the traditional way that detox works. In most cases, a detox center is in a hospital setting, or in a private detox that is like a hospital setting. This is the typical setting for detox. In some cases, detox is performed in a separate facility that is connected to the hospital and is strictly used for drug and alcohol detox. Either way, this setting is very clinical and cold.

Contrast that with what we call luxury drug detox. In our particular case, luxury drug detox is offered in a luxury home environment. Private bedrooms with large four-poster beds with 1,000 thread count bed linens, designer furnishings and private bathrooms with marble tiles and jetted tubs all enhance the luxury experience. Luxury amenities including large plasma TVs and Internet connections make each room truly home-like. In addition, there is no cafeteria-type food. We have on staff a gourmet chef who prepares each meal fresh with only the finest organic foods. The meals are prepared based on each patient’s needs to give them the nourishment they need to successfully complete their drug detox stay. In addition, we have a fully equipped indoor gym and outdoor lap pool. Our drug detox patients can work with a personal trainer to get back their physical strength during detox. We also offer massages to help cleanse the body of toxins and create a sense of well-being in our detox patients.

If all of this sounds more like a luxury resort than a drug detox center, you are correct. That is why we call our drug detox center a luxury drug detox center. If you or a loved one is in need of detox, why go anywhere else? Do you really want to go through detox in a hospital setting? Or would you rather have the pampering and individual attention of a luxury drug detox?

Why not call the Drug Detox Center today to find out more about how we can help you or your loved one get through detox in the best way possible? Call the Drug Detox Center today at 1-877-767-0598 to begin the path to healing and recovery.

Drug Rehab After Detox

After successfully completing detox, the patient is now ready to begin the drug rehab process. As stated above, completing detox does not mean that the person is cured from their drug or alcohol addiction. It simply means they are ready to begin rehab, where the real work of healing begins.

In rehab, our patients learn about themselves, and about how their drug addiction has affected those around them. They learn through family therapy what damage has been done, and that their loved ones are here to help them recover, and not to enable them any longer in their drug abuse. They learn why they turned to drugs or alcohol, and what those triggers are. They learn new coping strategies to use when confronted with those same issues after they leave rehab. They learn in rehab that they can’t do it on their own. They learn that there are many others just waiting to help them, and that help is offered simply by asking. They learn that life can be beautiful again, that life can be meaningful again, and that they can life a drug-free life. They learn that in order to stay sober they have to take it one day at a time. They learn all these things in rehab so that when they leave they have the best chance for long-term sobriety.

Drug Detox and Drug Rehab

May 6th, 2010

Addiction recovery itself begins with a simple goal: to cleanse an addict’s systems of drugs. With that in mind, drug detox is an essential precursor to drug rehab, and the doctors and technicians in a drug detoxification facility are key players in the substance abuse treatment process. It’s only through proper detox care, in the end, that an addict can hope to embark on the road to sobriety with a sound body and an engaged spirit.

Again, addiction is both a physical and a psychological condition, and addiction recovery must address the disease on both levels. From a physical perspective, drug addiction is that state in which drugs and drug chemicals have become part of an addict’s “normal” neural metabolism. Chronic drug abuse entails the substitution of drug products for natural neurotransmitters in the human brain, with the unfortunate consequence that chronic drug addicts literally need drugs to sustain themselves as physical beings.

Given that sort of dependence, it should perhaps go without saying that the initial stage of addiction recovery can be a traumatic one for patients. The good news, though, is that the doctors and caregivers at drug detoxification facilities are specially trained to help patients mitigate the symptoms of drug withdrawal, and that the medical and physical therapies employed by drug detox experts can be enormously successful in ensuring that the withdrawal period is no more trying than it absolutely has to be.

And make no mistake: The importance of proper detox care is crucial to the overall success of addiction recovery itself. Only those patients who leave drug detox with their bodies and spirits in sound condition can hope to meet the rigors of addiction recovery with the sort of robustness they’ll need to get sober. Again, addiction recovery is a function of patient engagement, and patient attitude, and the trials of the process are such that effective addiction recovery does and must entail a wholehearted commitment from the recovering addict. Failing that, addiction recovery can’t even get off the ground

Facing The Challenge Of A Drug Addiction

June 30th, 2009

Addiction treatment changes everything. Whoever you are, however hopeless you believe yourself to be, a private addiction treatment program can help you rediscover life as you used to know it, before your disease turned you into the person you are today. The catch, of course, is that you have to be willing to seek help from the professional caregivers at a private addiction treatment facility. Under the circumstances, it’s hard to imagine that the right choice could ever be more obvious.

Addiction is a disease. Like any disease, it can only be overcome with medical help. Addiction treatment will give you the strength you need to get sober on your own terms, in a way that will help you remember why you ever believed tomorrow to be a thing worth waking up for. All that remains, now, is for you to take the first step, by trusting your health to an exclusive addiction treatment clinic. With so much to lose, and so much more to win, you can’t afford not to act.

There Is No Guarantee With Drug Rehab

May 22nd, 2009

Drug rehab in Malibu is like drug rehab anywhere: It can only succeed if it’s administered by competent, compassionate professionals. All Malibu drug rehabs decorate their brochures with pictures of quiet beaches and crystal-blue skies. Only a few, though, really deliver advanced drug rehabilitation programs to their clients. As successful Malibu drug rehab graduates will tell you, the difference is more important than any in the world.

The practical implication here is that drug rehab in Malibu is never guaranteed to succeed. On the contrary, only by finding the right drug rehab facility can you expect to get where you’re trying to. Before you enroll in a Malibu drug rehab program, then, it’s vital that you thoroughly explore the options available to you. The right choice will help you rediscover yourself as you used to be, before addiction turned you into the person you are today. Here’s hoping you’ll be wise enough to make it.

Is there any sense on consuming a substance that will definitely harm an individual’s good health?

April 17th, 2009

Definitely not. And what is worse is that the substance effects on the person will only last a few minutes, but its consequences will damage the person’s body, mind and surroundings (its social interactions, for example) for a long period of time. But today’s easy access to drugs and a not strong enough drug-free propaganda can lead a person to drug abuse. And unfortunately, cocaine is being used by more and more people today. No matter age or gender, its consumption is becoming usual by any social class, and its thought to be a recreational drug, taking it apart from the atrocities it does to anybody.

The effects of cocaine on the body usually stay from fifteen to twenty minutes. After this, more drug is needed to achieve the first “high”. But what the individual may not know is that after this “high”, no other will be the same. When cocaine is consumed, the brain releases greats amounts of a substance called dopamine. This is what makes the person euphoric and makes him or her feel great energy. After this effects are gone, the individual will feel low and even depressed, and more drug is needed. At this point, the brain will take some time to create dopamine to be released, and so no “high” will be like the first.

It can easily be concluded that cocaine consumption, just like any other drug, is simply pointless. With the mere action of using a substance that will do the body no good, the individual is guaranteeing long term negative effects in its life.

Do You Know Someone Who Needs Alcohol Or Drug Rehab?

March 20th, 2009

Listen. If during your drug or alcohol intervention the addict begins asking questions like; Would I have to go to a drug treatment center? How long would I be at a drug and alcohol abuse treatment program? Will you send me to a luxury residential drug addiction treatment program in Malibu, CA.? These are signs that he is reaching for help and wants drug abuse treatment. Do not directly answer these questions. Instead have him call in to talk to a professional interventionist at a drug treatment program. Support him.

The family and person attending the intervention should definitely express their concerns but not to sympathize with the addict. Sympathy is a form of agreement and can back fire by justifying the dependency.

Without any anger or fear, the addict should “get” from all the people present that the situation is known and that he/she needs to go to drug abuse treatment program. Don’t allow stories of family problems and life’s troubles sway the attention off the point that the individual has a problem and needs to seek help fixing it. This is where the family’s preparation pays off.
